Ondy’s Track of the Week – April 25th: Collision of Innocence – Upon The Horizon
Ondy’s Track of the Week from the April 18th #FirstPlays, comes from South Carolina based Collision of Innocence.
Collision of Innocence is a brand new rock band from South Carolina. They formed in January of 2018 with the release of the first single “In Between.”
They quickly grabbed the attention of radio outlets and grabbed 5 mentions on Billboard’s Christian Rock Most Added category, airplay on over 60 plus radio stations, #1 on ChristianRock.net, and over 70,000 streams on Spotify in the first 6 months. In July, they released their follow up single “Took My Place” with our debut music video produced by Wayward Sons Productions/Bryan Eckhardt and quickly grabbed over 200 playlist adds. The video production was superior and video direction told an amazing story of redemption.
The third single “Eyes Like Fire” was released in late August/early September. This single really took them back to their roots in playing heavy music. With aggressive guitar riffs, dynamic builds, and monster tones, it paints a picture of vengeance for people who have been persecuted in their faith. Look for COI to release more music in coming months and music festival appearances in 2020.
