South Coast band TALES OF AUTUMN announce the band is calling it quits.

Band in talks to give final send off

Today, Brighton based Prog Rock/ Metal band TALES OF AUTUMN announced that they are calling it a day after 6 years as a band.

Formed in Brighton by vocalist and guitarist Stefanos Karantonis, guitarist Tom Kiggins, bassist Nick Horton, and drummer Jordan Dann, the band released their debut album In Madness We Trust in 2018 after a successful Crowd Fund campaign.

Releasing the single Worthless to celebrate the album, it was a taster of what was to come

The band took to their Facebook page earlier today to make the announcement, but stated that this was not due to any personal circumstances, but rather life changes making it impossible to continue as a band.
The band also stated that they will be in talks with Bar 42 in Worthing for one final send off.. fitting that the journey ends where it started.

Milestones for the band included playing Bloodstock Open Air Festival in 2017, Brighton’s Mammothfest in 2018 and being named “Best Brighton Metal Band“,  as well as playing the legendary Underworld in Camden.

The sad news comes just as some other South Coast bands are set to launch new albums and EPs such as The Rocket Dolls new album The Art Of Disconnect, Graces Collide’s debut Our Tomorrow, and Cyanide Sundae’s follow up to the album Blinded Generation, The Club.

TALES OF AUTUMN formed part of a strong Brighton music scene which includes bands such as Kicking Graves, Aren Drift, Dead Letter, YVAH, Azure,Vrona, The Rocket Dolls, Cyanide Sundae, Derelict Dream, Terraborn, SpyderByte, Tribe Of Ghosts, GAIA, Enslavement, King Goat, Villainous Famyne, Graces Collide and Icarus Falls.

TALES OF AUTUMN signed with ENSO Management in July 2019.

I’m not sure that the guys truly realised exactly how good they really were, but will certainly live on in the memories of fellow musicians they played with, along with the loyal fan-base they built up across the South Coast.

From all of us at Metal Meyhem Radio, we wish them all the best for any future endeavors.

In Madness We Trust is still available for streaming and purchase;
