In the words of drummer Nick Watmough: “A huge part of creating Curse These Metal Hands was the small moments in between the music – traveling across the country to be together in different studios and each other’s homes. And also partying heavily. To help capture that sense of joy, our friends at Fireball sent us some fine, firey whisky to enjoy. There were no strings attached. This is what we did with it. Please, enjoy with friends.”

The video is typical of the project – a celebration of joy, fun, and friendship built on a foundation of serious musical talent.

Curse These Metal Hands is an album saturated with a sense of wellbeing, from the very first moments of opening track, ‘High Spirits‘ through to the closer, ‘Sunday‘. The album was released 16th August while PIJN & CONJURER were at ArcTanGent Festival – a fitting date as it’s where the project was conceived. Playing to a rapturous crowd, Curse These Metal Hands has received global acclaim, from Bandcamp, The 405, The Quietus, Metal Hammer, Upset, Kerrang!, Rock Tribune, Metal Hammer Germany, and plenty more.

An infectious celebration of heavy music, Curse These Metal Hands combine two of the UK’s brightest young talents with stunning results. Elements of both bands shine through with elements of Baroness, Isis, Cult of Luna, and Torche for good measure – melodic, powerful, euphoric.

The band are:

Dan Nightingale [CONJURER] – Guitar / Vocals
Brady Deeprose [CONJURER] – Guitar / Vocals
Joe Clayton [PIJN] – Guitar / Vocals
Nick Watmough [PIJN] – Drums / Vocals
Luke Rees [PIJN] – Bass / Vocals
