Mournful Path are proud to announce that we are in cooperation with Inverse Records (Finland). We are honoured to be part of their roster.

Our debut EP will be exclusively released via the Inverse label late this year and distributed throughout USA, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan and Asia, Austria, France, Switzerland, UK & Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Estonia, South America and so on.
This will be available in all formats and available worldwide through various agencies.

Conceived in 2016, A Mournful Path is the product of a long standing collaboration between brothers David and Michael Romeo. Born of a mutual love of Scandinavian Black Metal, A Mournful Path is a unique coalescence of modern black, atmospheric and death metal. Drawing upon an ecclectic mix of influences including Godflesh, 1349, Svartidaudi, Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Sargeist, Horna, Marduk, Bestia Arcana, Devilgroth, Gorgoroth, Portal, Emperor, and the poetry of Sylvia Path - A Mournful Path offers an unsettling atmospheric nightmare soundscape into the dark recesses of a dark and tortured soul.

A Mournful Path is:
David Romeo: Song writing and all instruments
Michael Romeo: Words and voice
?
From the Wreckage of Humiliation waste no time, but goes straight for the kill in yet another spontaneous berserk outburst of caustic magma. A mournful Path, like Consummation, is inspired by black Scandinavian disgust garnished in the form of a downward eclectic maelstrom. Dissonant guitars leads the way before frenetic drumming violently drill holes in the forehead. After barely 90 seconds of striking discomfort, the music seems to calm down, but it's only an illusion, a diversion in order to penetrate the mind with a new wave of anxiety-ridden frontal assault when the listener is distracting to lower his garde. From the Wreckage of Humiliation is intense and terrifying from start to finish, and vouch for yet another band to take heed of.
The duo has recently been on a pilgrimage to Norway and Iceland, and images from Fantoft stave church and the basement of the Helvete shop et al. can be seen on their fakebook.
